Fulham Post-Match Reaction

Mancini and Balotelli saved the day.

Tevez let his heart rule he still loved Hughes. Maybe a few others too. His weak shot told it all.

Given the curse of come back and bite, could have lost.

balo saved the day.

mancini ruined the day

On the positive side, Tevez was unselfish for most of the game, passing balls to Dzeko, Balo, Milner, Barry, Zab and Yaya.

That is what we all wanted, right?

Some drama queens on here today, but then that's hardly a surprise as the board seems swamped with them after every game these days.

It was a fatigued performance from a team missing three of its 4 best players - the key defender, the key defensive midfielder and the key attacking midfielder. And our key striker was gash until the last 20 minutes.

They looked knackered out there today due to playing far too many games, and lacking in inspiration and cohesion due to the spine of the team being out through injury.

But at least we got a point. And we are still in third, with a much better goal difference than Spurs - which means we finish ahead if equal on points. This is clearly not 'by far the worst situation of all those chasing the top 4', as has been suggested above.

All of us have difficult games in our run in, and the last few results for all sides have shown the unpredictability of this League at the moment - anything can happen, and it often does. So all those saying we've got no chanve of finishing in the Top 4 are just indulging themselves in a bit of classic City melodrama - there will be plenty more twists and turns before the season is out, that's for sure.

We looked gassed pretty much the whole game. we obviously need a little more depth, but we were missing 3 out of our 4 best players (Kompany, De Jong, Silva). Combining the fatigue and the injuries, i'm not too surprised by the result.

this is also why we started hoofing the ball down the court at the end of the game.. looking for that hail mary because we didn't have the stamina to work it down the field.

as for mancinis performance, i think subbing off dzeko was the right move, but if you bring on vieira, you need to sub yaya for swp.

kolarov was disappointing today.

Correct and after the investment this squad has had, if we don't get it it will be a fucking joke.

I can see the owners fucking off if we don't get Champions League this season. Along with Tevez & Silva.

Owners wont go but i agree that we would possibly lose a few players along with Bobby!

The business side of our plans as a club will take a huge hit without CL football next season and will set us back a long time.

Incredible investment coupled with the decline of the so called top 4 bar the Rags has seen us with the greatest ever chance of breaking in and demolishing the old guard...we fucked it up last season...it had better not happen again for all concerned.

Would tend to dissagree dont think anybody came out of that well - yes he scored a decent goal but his many aspect of hims play as was ALL the team was poor including the second half air shot

Top monging

Get rid of Bert, rather us not lose than win.
Won't finish top four
Won't win fuck all.
To put the cherry on the cake Rags will win the fucking treble.

Well and truly pissed off:-(

If (repeat, if) Chelsea win their two games in hand, they go above us.

That's a good post. The Vieira sub was the right one at the right time but I would have taken off Kolorov put Zab at left back and brought on SWP at the same time. The we'd have had Barry/Vieira sitting with SWP and Yaya joining in with the two strikers.
