My all time favourite Kippax black humour chant was when we played Barnsley at home during the Miners' Strike on Boxing Day 1984.
Spontaneous chant to the tune of Band Aid's Feed the World :
"Feed the Miners, let them know it's Christmas Time".

Very cruel, but hilarious at the time. It brought the house down - I think that even the Main Stand laughed.

Last night match at Maine Rd against Fulham. Fulham were in limbo and playing there home games at Loftus Rd and not knowing whre they would be playing the following season. Que City fans to chant "Weve only got two grounds" Fulham fans responded with "Can we borrow one of yours"

Remember playing Sunderland a few years back when we hammered them at home.There was this gobby fit bird in the Sunderland end who clearly took offence to the "get your tits out for the lads" chant to which us City fans responded with "your just a shit Cheryl Cole". Her boyfriend then starts giving it the Big one so then us City fans respond again with "Take you slag and fuck off home". and not long after they got escorted out. It was quality
