Gabriel Jesus back in training (page 77)

Lettuce certainly won't be missed if it fucks off.

I can't fucking understand the weirdos who have it with a kebab!

Lettuce lovers are right up there with grown men who wear socks with sandals in the uber **** stakes.

If it turned out that by wrapping Jesus foot in lettuce it healed him in time to play at the weekend you would have a different attitude......and think of the caterpillars, and other small animals that eat lettuce.

The first information was given via radio, and then Denilson showed up on TV show Jogo Aberto to give a few more updates on Jesus’ situation.

According to the former player, Manchester City’s doctors have given Gabriel Jesus two options to recover from the injury.

The first one would be surgery. That would leave him out for two or three months, with the certainty that he’ll be completely recovered after that period.

The second one is physiotherapy. With no surgery, he’d receive rehabilitation and be back available for Manchester City after a month. A problem is that this treatment has the risk of the injury returning.

That’s why Jesus chose the surgery. It means he will only be back at the end of the season, if things go as expected. Denilson made clear the timeframe is just a prediction, and the recovery time could take a shorter or longer period.

Manchester City aren’t planning to officially comment on the injury until Pep Guardiola’s press conference on Friday. They may change that stance given the story is building so quickly.

We only have3 prem games in the next 6 weeks,it could have been worse timing
if it's true.

Sky sports uploaded a story recently that City are waiting on scan results.

That to me reads that the news out of Brazil is speculation. The news from Brazil sounds like it broke before the scan had even taken place. I am hoping so anyway.

Bit more info dripping out of Brazil. According to Denilson who's spoken to Jesus's brother - the docs gave Jesus two options. Physiotherapy - he'd have been out for a month but there was a risk of the injury returning. The other option was surgery, which is what he's taken. It'll mean a longer recovery period, but obviously it also means that it's unlikely the injury will return.

Lets hope this doesn't destroy his confidence about getting physical like he was playing. If he starts shying away from contact his game will take a big blow.

No option 3 - Physio and have surgery in the summer? We need new doctors.
