As he's left footed and Shaw is on his way out of utd and the bird shit eater is kicking on in age, the door is open at utd for a new left back and I believe they pay well over the top in wages

City agreed a deal to sign him in August 2016 before he made his international debut. It was obvious very early on his City career that this boy was, injury permitting, destined to go to the World Cup as Brazil's no. 9 and we all know where that can lead. Offering him terms now is clearly futile. That should have been done ages back. Perhaps it was.He only joined us 14 months ago!

If he has a great tournament in a winning side he's going to be idolised by 200 million people, with all the marketing and sponsorship that brings, his agent would be incompetent to not wait till August.
I don't see him leaving anytime soon but I don't see a true Brazil number 9 not playing for either Real Madrid or Barca in the future.
Yeah, that's historically an inevitability but Pep will surely keep him for as long as he is there

Am I missing something?, He has done nothing to deserve a pay rise this season. When he starts returning Kun like figures then yes by all means, but until that happens there's plenty of mileage in his present contract.
