No idea whether or not this would spoil anything for anyone so better safe than be called a wanker. I thought when the changed the cast of Daario that confirmed he was one of those men who could change his face. Like the man Arya met and gave 3 the names of three people she wanted dead, that man changed his face in a split second after the deeds were done, I thought Daario, with him killing his so called friends easily was the same type of man.

Those that have read the books could put me straight on this. But really, I find there is no weak link where the acting is concerned. It is all top class for me. The only character I find devoid of charisma is Stanis, that may be intentional though

He is a bit harsher than book Stannis mate, but yeah he is a very straight character, that is how he is, for me he is the true and rightful king of Westeros and the guy i have been rooting for throughout the books.

We talked about Daario earlier in the thread I think, nothing more than a dispute with the original actor, he's one of my few casting complaints though, they've still not got him right in two attempts. Mance is another.

The Baratheons usurped the iron throne when Jaime killed Aerys II Targaryen. Danerys is the rightful heir to the throne, but as in reality, it's the ones with the money and power who will rule.

Yeah there seem to be many claimants, if that's a word, to the throne. Rightful heir, blood right, etc. Stanis, to me though, has almost been robotic in the series, very little emotion, makes it hard to root for him.

I think what you said earlier is correct - that is meant to be the point, and why he struggles for followers.

The Targs lost the throne in battle..Stannis was usurped by an inbred mo-fo with no right what-so-ever

He needs to hurry the fuck up with Winds of Winter and a Dream of Spring, the tv series is going to overtake and will piss a lot of people off.

Im worried about this too as it took him 6 years to write the last book!
