Garcia and his fans from last season

Average enough to be named in the premier league team of the year whilst picking up our POTY honour?
Zabaletta had a bad game by his standards, he was at fault for at least one goal but to say his general play is poor and he has woeful positioning is a load of bollocks.

I would honestly say Zaba's positioning is the worst of our back 4, he's often too far forwards or too narrow but he is helped massively by Milner and Kompany's constant covering. His general play isn't bad though and his commitment and determination are obviously top class.

I think his reading of the game is generally first class, which is why he was the best right-back in the Prem last season without being super fast or especially big. The two corner goals came from him failing to stop the one player he was marking (and probably shouldn't have been marking, at least after the first one). That's a deficiency, but a very specific one that should be avoidable (put someone bigger/better in the air on opposing teams' biggest aerial threats - like Garcia, for example).

Before the Cardiff game I'd still have said a lot of the time he's too far up the pitch when the opponents attack. Obviously he performed well last season but it's probably worth considering that's the position of lowest quality across the league.

I like Zab a lot just like everyone but I do think he is our most limited first XI player.

I'm not sure he's limited. I think his positional discipline fails at times. The most spectacular instance was in Madrid last year. He's so used to Kompany covering and being brilliant at it that he stranded him against Ronaldo.

I would argue Clichy is the most limited. He brings nothing going forward, and he is criticised about he poor crossing, or lack of cros good defender but sing all together. Usually he's a good defender but occasionaly he's poor. Zab similarly is usually a good defender but will occasionaly play poorly and he's a liability on set pieces but he does provide quality going forward.

Can we keep this to discussing the hopelessly out of his depth Garcia.

I get let down each time its bumped........

What makes him "hopelessly out of his depth" is possibly the point people have been trying to make (as too much exaggeration surrounds the player)?

The 20 or so people who've hilariously stated "even I'm better than Garcia" must be livid at this snub / cursing their nationality.

He can get in the Spain squad and they can't even by in the England squad.

I think I know who I'll ignore from now on!
