We get these little ermines out here, occasionally you’ll see them running across the snow, the tip of their tail is black, pretty much the only way you can spot them
I've gone with stoat, but I really don't know.Right.Lets have it out here now..........
Stoat.or Weasel?
I,m being honest...I don't know ...
Do you.
Right, I've managed to stop some video footage I took of it with its tail in the air. So, stoat or weasel? I'm now going for weasel as it doesn't have a bushy end to its tail.Right.Lets have it out here now..........

?Do ya wanna cum closer...?,!!!
Crass.securicor,
We get all the above except the cardinalsAt present just some Jays, a couple of Crows and a Snowy Owl. The latter, just sits majestically on top of the telephone pole and watches the world go by. I can actually stand right underneath and he doesn't seem at all concerned. He's beautiful.
We are lucky to get a lot of different birds in the garden during the rest of the year.
American Robins (dumb as stumps)
Red-winged Blackbirds (can get mildly aggressive)
Sparrows
Northern Flickers
Cowbirds/Grackles (Smart dudes)
Cardinals (Beautiful)
Hummingbirds (Dainty and amazing)
Killdear (often feigning a broken wing)
Mourning Doves
Goldfinches
Starlings
Waxwings
Warblers
Chickadees
Turkey Vultures (soaring way above)
Geese
A couple of Ducks in the stream
Heron
Various hawks are often around, along with the occasional Eagle and Osprey
Wild Turkeys (in the adjacent field)
................and many others, the more the merrier.
We get all the above except the cardinals
We get the Bullocks Oriole in the spring but they’re just passing through. Lots of Grosbeaks, Rosy Finches, siskins, nuthatches, etcDo you get Orioles Idaho?
I read they are attracted to the colour orange, so I put out a couple of orange coloured feeders and also some grape jelly and managed to attract a couple for the first time.
Beautiful looking birds.
