I cant help think if he leaves Spurs it will be to replace Ronaldo at Madrid. I think Utd will look to get Ronaldo and Lewandowski to replace Nani and Rooney.

Rooney won't leave. Taking if the rumours of Rooney's contract clauses to be true, if Rooney stays, the Rags probably can't sign Ronaldo either.

Rooney has to match Ronaldo's wages. So if they intend to sign Ronaldo, then probably they are attempting to free up Rooney.

But, despite RVP and all, Rooney is and has always been their talisman, they won't look to let him go.

He will smash the British transfer record (British player), barca or real 45m plus, any of city, united or Chelsea will pay in excess of 50m, levy is the best negotiator in the business!!!

Personally I'd offer nasri, Edin plus 30m, he'd be the player to help us compete on the European stage...

Cavani would make a better defensive midfielder than Yaya. If it's a City line up without Barry, Garcia or Rodwell (or of course a reasonable replacement) it won't work.
