Other then those 3 slip ups he was decent.
 
3rd best player for us today behind Milner and Ashley Cole. A few bad passes but far more effective work, we would not have been as strong and stable without it.
 
He was alright , but at times he looked a bit shaky , and his passing sometimes led to mistakes ....... Slovenia should have scored from one of them as broke away and had about three efforts on goal blocked by desperate defending.

Gareth Barry looks half asleep at times , and unaware ...... he'll need to improve when Germany hit town!

You wanted Upson, Lennon and Cole in the team. My summation was of their contributions so far. Lennon was poor in both starts. Milner made a HUGE difference today
 
I thought he had a decent game, he did give ball away but so did rest of team. They don't make themselves available for passes. This will be our downfall when we need to keep posesion. Look at each player under pressure they don't have enough options to move the ball that is why we end up lumping it long and allow a shit team like Slovenia to put us under pressure at end of game.
