Ahh the voice of reason at last. Cook came along for the ride. We have improved off the pitch inspite of Cook not because of him.

People have been blinded by his previous role plus he would buy a few beers for supporters and make some outlandish comments.

Onwards and upwards.

The Best Chairman we had was not Cook. He wasn't Chairman.

Cook's title was Executive Chairman for quite some time.

Chief Executive Officer to be precise! Never has been and never was any type of chairman

let he who is without sin cast the first email, garry did some gaffs, garry did some absolute sterling work in building the clubs profile, lets move on, but the one thing that leaves an excruciating feeling in the pit of my stomach is that fkn paper it is the total pits, the people who write for it, the people who run it,the people who own it, as soon as that yellow ticker came up all i could see was them all in their sewer of an office all slapping each other on the back, well done cussey lad, well done shitey, then them all toddling off to their grubby hangout drinks all round, anyone phoned redders up yet and let him have the good news on what we have achieved? the one thing that worries me is who at the club is next, and if some of the people on the site thinks that will be the end of the campaign against the club they all totally blinkered, i was really grateful for what garry did at city i have never felt so confident since the days of joe and mal,i have a feeling some more of this story will come out but i won,t be believing the suns or sky,s version. i mean the sun knows all about emails and text,s.

gutted he has gone to be honest

Thought he has been outstanding with the commercial stuff - improvements for us the fans and the community stuff we do all under his guidance has been superb - yes he made a few mistakes but he has been pretty faultless for the thick end of 12 months

this e-mail was sent 11 months ago reference his agent which happened to be his mother - sad - sad - hope they punt Onuah at the earliest possible opportunity he dont get my support any more - wont boo him or slate him but his agent has been a twat

I don't,it's just attention seeking like the threads that have been merged into here.

I think someone need to explain to you the concept of a forum.
And I think you need to know what he means. And I agree with him.

Did you see my thread Mackenzie? Maybe there are sad individuals on here, and other fourms, who get a kick out of the supposed kudos from starting a thread though in reality I doubt anyone is actually that pathetic and needy.
Personally I believed that a thread about Cook's legacy - looking back at his achievements on the day he resigns - was as dispirate from this thread as the one about his replacement (which continues to remain as a single entity).
Got no probs with the mods merging - I was joking in my reply above - but dont appreciate someone insinuating I'm some sad bastard who craves attention on an internet forum and then someone else unnecessarily sticking their oar in to agree with him.
Spent the past few hours writing an article that is due in tomorrow morning that will be read by a lot of non-City fans who probably believe every negative comment made about City in the media and I wanted to defend the image of my club properly and not miss out any of the good work that Cook has done.
So agree away but you're completely wrong in this instance. Thought you knew me well enough from downstairs to lump me in with the attention seeking children to be honest.

Very good, the daily fail also says today that his 3 1/2 year reign as CEO came to an end, so he must have resigned as executive chairman after a couple of days.
