Gas & Electricity

I take it you've not seen who's running for P. M then. ;)
Yeah one of them introduced the furlough scheme, which paid for 80% of the publics wages.

Although the problem is it’ll be truss, who’s thick as fook and won’t do anything

There’s something that puzzles me about electricity prices. My electricity supplier provides electricity from 100% renewable sources; they tell me every time I login to look at bills or give a meter reading. If that’s the case, why am I paying the rate for electricity that is tied to the cost of producing electricity from non renewables? We have had levies placed on our bills for years to pay for renewables and now we’ve got them, why are we still paying a price that is tied to non renewable sources?

It’s because the whole charade is fixed. Linked to wholesale gas prices regardless so they can charge more and make more profits and OFGEM sit in silence whilst they do it!

I was not condoning the rioting, was just saying it.may well get to that stage. You are interpreting my post wrongly.
Exactly. Nobody wants it to get to that stage. But it may well. Unfortunately peaceful protests will be latched onto by those wanting a riot just for kicks. Plus no doubt some government backed infiltrators to stir up shit.

We’ve decided that the heating will go on 3 times a day, one hour in the morning just as we get up, one hour around middle of the day, and an hour at night. Just hoping for a mild winter although you know with our luck it there will be polar bears out there this Xmas! The rest of the time it will be blankets and using hot water bottle for bed. The wife works from home and goes in 1 day a week I’ve said she can start doing more if it’s that cold she wants the heating on, let work pay the bill. Our gas bill is the main cost in the house as electric is pretty constant over the year and we hardly use any during the summer. If we can keep the gas down then we will manage.
Let’s hope lots can do this and watch them fucking profits drop, fuck em.

That's it pal, get some hoodies and the blankets out.

I'm going to go to the office a lot more and use their heating. Whilst I will be spending money on the commute it will still work out cheaper than WFH with the heating on
