Gas & Electricity

the only people that defend these ludicrous salaries work/have ties to a similar situation within public sector - end of.
Well that’s that then, you’ve said end of.

It’s just a shame that you’ve not answered my or anyone else’s questions.

Instead of randomly blaming the public sector, how would you fix the issue of crippling fuel costs that will put most businesses out of business by Easter?

So, the selfish strands of the 'public sector' who are striking or intend to to for more money, because let's face it - who else goes on strike or can afford to beside the public sector?

The public sector expects the general public to pay more tax to cover the inflation rises?

So, the so called educated among us - for example the ‘teachers’ etc...simply can't work out that the general public mathematically can’t pay a 300% energy price hike, ON TOP of soaring fuel food etc? and THEN pay their salary rises on top of that.

Yes they CAN WORK OUT the public can’t afford this, of course they can! - they just don’t give a flying fuck - teachers want a 3 day working week? for steady good salaries, ludicrous holidays and iron clad pensions - society doesn’t work. privatise everything. All in or none.

This winter and upcoming year/years is going to be carnage.
Current, recent and likely future strikes.
Railways? Private sector
Post Office? Private sector

Airline Pilots? Private sector.
Journalists at Reach publications? Private sector.

These costs have zero effect on the prices to come.

It‘s a similar argument to suggest Nottingham Forest are spending too much. Haven’t they seen that the price of fuel is going up dramatically?

Thats not relevant either.
So, its ok for public sector strikes to go ahead - and for the government to cave in, and pay more money to public sector workers - answer this! - the public sector salaries come from the government - which in turn tax the population. Are you dumb?

Don’t forget the barristers.

SJT is probably most annoyed that they are striking. He can’t get a coffee in the morning. Seems to make him grumpy and illogical.

Which public sector workers are on strike currently?

What has taxing the public sector got to do with anything?

Are you ok?

I realise that carbon zero and the Ukrainian war is the main reason for price hike - and WE ALL need to pull our belts in - the public sector included. they can not have pay rises, some people are blind to that.
Pull our belts in..lol

Did you sleep through the last decade of austerity? Pay is flatter than at any time in recorded history, my own pay saw a real terms 20% cut over that decade all for a political ideology, and yes it was in the public service. For many people there is no more cloth to cut.

So this was in 2015 - is this acceptable to you?
So because one of the bosses at my trust earned that (one that I've never heard, seen or spoken too btw) I can get to fuck on my salary... Or the domestics & porters can piss off on their just about national living wage...

I do however, disagree with an earlier post on here asking for a properly funded NHS... I would like to work for an NHS that doesn't piss money down the drain... But that's a different argument.
