You aren't "just" anything though. You are an integral part of the public service, never forget that and dont let anyone EVER put you down.Fully agreed mate. I grew up not fond of the police to put it lightly. Now I know why they treat people with disdain, they get abused of not attacked constantly.
I'm just a technician at a high school. I make sure the kids don't cut their fingers off on the band saw, First Aider and drive the mini bus. My take home is 15 grand a year.
I do it cos I love it and the holidays are great for my kids. But I work as hard as I did in the private sector for some **** sat on a yacht. Not again
Cheers mate but meant it as in Im not "holding the public to ransom" like the daily mail idiot is implying. You aren't "just" anything though. You are an integral part of the public service, never forget that and dont let anyone EVER put you down.
No, and I’ve never understood the naivety of public sector employees when it comes to ‘understanding’ just where their money comes from, but hey ho, we're all stupid here, aren’t we.
Why don't you give over mate, or start a thread? Most people go in to the public sector because it's considered a ‘job for life’ secure, fair enough. Safe in that knowledge that the government will always stump up the cash, come rain or shine - no lay offs, no redundancies - pensions, holidays, the government put taxes up on the private sector to endlessly fund it all - blah blah...you know how it works, well, new news!...the banks are empty and were all in it together now, even you lot - and we're all fucked! apart from the guy on 100k who has the gall to announce on a post about fuel poverty? you could not make it up - like some sick voyeur, lapping up the misery he casually floats above., removed from.
