Gas & Electricity

We did have a dryer at the old house for years was a decent one too but i found the washing came out of the machine smelling lovely but after an hour in the dryer it lost all of its nice smell. Filter was cleaned and washed daily, used those dryer lenor sheets with each load, any tips on how to keep clothes smelling fresh mate after a run in the dryer?
May seriously consider making room under the stairs somehow and buying one.
it doesn't help either with them radiators on all day in winter, our front door opens and the living room is open plan and 5 hours of nice warmth goes out the house within seconds of one of the kids dashing in and closing it
Fabric softeners have improved over the years but drying clothes in a dryer does mean you lose most of the scent.

Best solution I have found is adding a scented sheet 30 mins before the end. Le or have been ok, but have bought some Bounce sheets and will see if they‘re as good as I remember, or nostalgia teasing me.

I‘d hang fire on creating space for a dryer until the government rule out any help. Hopefully they do announce something when they finally announce who’s next in charge. It seems a longer process than a general election!

We have a old fashioned pulley in our utility room for clothes and it works a treat get a machine load dry every day. Ty boiler is in there so that helps in the winter.

When are protests

Tbf if the vicious bastards who were demonising and attacking people against lockdowns and grassing on their neighbors going for a 3rd walk of the day are out protesting, well I’d say what the fuck did you think was going to happen ?

Oh, OK, thanks for clearing that up ;-)

I think you'll find certain posters digest legacy MSM as their main source for anything, whilst new media is more open and tend to look at reasons behind the headlines.

It will often turn out that legacy MSM have been stringing you along, in time.

That's why people like Brand, Maaté, Dore, Useful Idiots(very good channel for dour humour) make you think. None of them are right wing and not afraid to ask questions and call out hypocrisy.
