Octopus are reducing direct debits by the £66 odd quid, for the 6 month period rather than handing it out. They are also reviewing payments. A bit pointless as the new prices minus the 66 quid will probably equate to a payment pretty much the same as what I am paying now!

BP caused a huge rise in fuel prices when it left it`s forecourts empty due to staff shortages, prices never returned. Then 10,000s of Scottish people went without power some for weeks as power companies failed to fulfill their contracts but still made billions.the Government should fine these companies not money but every house should be solar paneled, wind turbine and heat exchanger where possible, these people should never again be abused by the power companies. How does that help everyone here? it reduces demand so it should reduce prices.
After that every house built,bought, sold, rented or let should be made fuel free, Truss has capped prices at £2,500 going fuel free cost around £10,000 and makes enough to pay the water bill, I live in an affluent place of 200 houses only 3 have solar panels that is 197 who let down those that can not get or afford them.

She hasn’t capped prices at £2500.
Many will pay more than that.

They’ve capped the rise to £2500 instead of £3500+, haven't they?

So 35p per kWh instead of 52p.

Don’t be daft. The price per KWH was about to rocket until the govt capped it.

It's already rocketed.......I can't afford it as it is ...it's way too expensive at the old rates never mind these so called caps
