With British gas, not had the rebate yet although October's DD went out on Monday. Anyone else had it?

I’m with Bulb and they credited my account on 1 October.

After deductions, gas and electric cost us £28 this month.

No heating though as of yet.

Are the candles for heating the water for the hot water bottles?

Using my annoying neighbours shed for firewood has that covered, he has disappeared for a few months to winter away the cold in this country.

I am thinking of if the whole thing gets switched off mate, I can afford the heating etc if II sell the wifes kidney.

I think there may be quite a few boiler “breakdowns” in houses this winter!

Maybe people will want a return to open fires and back boilers, there is nothing like walking home from school in a real pea souper listening out for the traffic you can't see before it's on top of you.
