Gas & Electricity

Looking at one of these what exactly can you use them for?
Think of them as a mini, high temperature, oven. They are great for cooking stuff from frozen (fish, pies, chips especially, mini pizzas) sausages are brilliant, 'roasted' veg, chicken pieces, bacon, (make a foil tray for them to sit in), anything small you would put in an oven really. One of my daughters does a full cooked breakfast for herself in it....the more you use it the more you will think of. The title of fryer is misleading because there is virtually no fat involved. They are also really quick.

Yup, I'll second that, there's not much you can't do in them, I'll probably never use my oven again.

Already started turning down the shower temp each week to get used to colder showers.

It should save a fraction, and I’ve heard there are health benefits.

Same, we've had one for a few months now plus the fact we recently moved to a house with a gas oven means all we pretty much use is the Air Fryer.

Could probably do with a few tbf mind...

Same with everything, some people don't think long term and bury their head in the sand, thinking nothing will change. Some want the biggest, shiniest things they can have without thinking of the consequences. Why do you need a 60 grand 4 wheeler to take the kids to school? Lot of people in for a big reality check.

BoE base rate just announced 0.5% increase to 1.75%

My electricity useage has gone down a lot since we bought an Air Fryer. With 5 people in the house (including 3 teenagers) all in and out at different times, the oven was always on/off/on/off for people heating up or cooking a small amount of food. Now they all use the Air Fryer which saves a fortune, got ours from Costco for £55.
Missus really isn't getting it with elec prices walked in kitchen to find airfryer, oven and grill on cooking a meal for 2 all of which could go in oven
