Gate for Ajax

We have such shite fans it's untrue.
Probably the same people who boooed at half time last week and most probably the same fickle lot who leave ten minutes from the end each game to get home to their sad pathetic little lives.
We should cut capacity not increase it.

????????? suspicous. A lot of people cannot afford the champs games aswell as the fact we are more than likley out :)

Understand your frustration Rowsley St, however its far to overpriced for many. The cost of our 4 (2 adults,2kids) in family stand tomorrow is £80. Thats with fiver discount each for being in cup scheme. To us thats a lot of money coming out of one household. For Real Madrid its worse £110. It will be the last time we join the euro cup scheme, will continue to join up for the domestic cups at more realistic prices. Sadly cannot afford it anymore and like the away games weve been out priced. Should imagine the are many fans in the same boat, and as much as it kills me not to go if, somebody offered me the £80 back id watch it on ITV. Dont be angry with the fans or City, its that Plattini with his elitist lob sided comp and FFP.

We don't have particularly shit fans (although the booing, the constant leaving early and the often lack of atmosphere is shit), its just that we don't actually have that many fans, for a supposed big club.

There are probably the same percentage of fans at United who pick and choose games or can only afford certain ones, but they have fucking shit loads of fans everywhere to fill in for those when they aren't there. We don't.

A few thousand fans missing for us and then there aren't that many others to take their place. Look at the Wembley Community Shield against United; I decided not to go because I'd just been on holiday and would need money for upcoming Champions Lg games and didn't think it was a particularly important game so my not being there wasn't a big thing - and there were probably a good few thousand who though the same - and there simply wasn't the fans in our back catalogue of fans to take the places of those not there.

Mate who works in ticket office said there were 37k sold this morning. This includes just over 2k Ajax have sold.

I am missing now due to work but seat will be a filled by Liverpool supporting mate of my lad so at least not empty.

I can't really blame people who were not in cup scheme to swerve this one based on our shit showing so far.

Just give as many of the remaining tickets as possible to schools, United clearly are for their CL games and you can hear the kids count down to 45 and 90 minutes. If we can't sell them, create new fans.

maybe all the mouthy bastards off facebook/twitter who all decided they like city/football around 4.53pm on 13th may 2012 could come along instead of being part of the "skysports generation" (yes i know its on itv)

Too easy now to say your a fan without actually going to the games, money tight but if youve never had any intention of ever watching a live game then dont "support " city

i know people who used to go city/united in 60s/70s/80s etc and for me they have a voicve theyve just been priced out, its like the wankers who come out the woodwork for euros/world cup and then ask why "becks" or "lamps" isnt playing

lets get behind the lads and please

NO UNITED SONGS

Good news = I think it'll be a sell out.

Bad news = I fear the whole stadium, Ajax included, will sing 'who the fuck are man utd' for 90 minutes, something a big clubs fans like utd or liverpool would never do. You definitely wouldn't hear 'why don't City fuck off home' 30 seconds into a champions league final, that's never happened.

ha..no never.................good dig.............ignored by the Utd posters I noticed.

i don't mind hearing a few United songs, but i don't expect to hear that pathetic 'if you're watching on the tele your a c**t' song.

If you want to go to the game then fair enough, go and enjoy yourselves, but why have a go at blues who have various reasons for wanting to watch it at home?
