I live near Altrincham and we have two hotels in the area with asylum seekers installed as residents.

There have been no reports of lawlessness from them, and I haven't had a conversation with anyone, be they friends or strangers living here, expressing concerns about them being in the area.

It's not been mentioned, let alone been a focus of discussion, with anyone.

I don't see how one legitimate story can be described as 'obsessed'. I hadn't read it before and don't feel like I've been 'whipped into a frenzy' after reading it either. It's still a free country (even if our right to free speech is being eroded every day) and you don't have to watch/read their take on the news. I could be wrong but I haven't heard of GB News being sued for lying.

Maybe so, but the vast majority of clips I see is always trans stories or migrants - do they report anything else ? Do they even report the Gaza genocide ?
