The talk today is Farage into an easily winnable seat ( if they can find one at the GE ) and when he becomes MP there is a move to get him to lead the Tories.
Compare the UKIP manifesto with the latest Tory policies. There's a lot of similarities.

That **** is joining them. Mind you even offering him a "safe seat" he could still lose it.

Epsom and Ewell would seem an option now.

Although the anti-Farage vote may lead to an interesting result. Lots of publicity for the shy and retiring frogfaced one.

There are 2 Tory seats up grabs with By-Elections on October 19th:

Mid-Bedfordshire - Nadine Dorries and Tamworth (Tam'uth) - Chris Pincher.

Get hammered in them, Sunak should call an Election in December or early 2024.

'Should' is always going to be based on perspective.

From the govt position, they still have a big majority, not many who are serial dissenters and have another year's vandalism that they can inflict. They'll want to screw around with electoral systems a bit and make some more things irreversible.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Tories plan is to try and turn the election in to a one issue referendum. And the most likely issue they will think they can get support, is over dealing with immigration.

I think these speeches we’ve been hearing lately from the like of Braverman, with ever increasing hostile language, is just testing the waters.

I think they will continue to let the asylum process become more and more clogged up. Become more and more of an issue with the public.

And then sometime next year come out with some radical barmpot plan of dealing with it. That even Starmer won’t be able to shy away from criticising.

Go to the country and declare the election a referendum as to whether you want to turn Britain into a third world country, overran with illegal immigrants, or let the Tories save the day with their tough but fair plan of dealing with it.

Pushing immigration as an issue doesn’t fix any issues which we should be dealing with. The country is flat broke and we as tax payers are being hit with fixing the hole in the roof the Tories have caused by letting the likes of Truss have the reigns. This after 13 years of austerity and shrinking the state.

I want to see ideas of how we are going to get growth into the economy. How we are going to deal with inflation, how we are going to improve public services. The sinister pushing of what they call illegal immigration is a very strange obsession they have.

People tend to vote with their wallets. He will be hoping for miraculous growth and a national epidemic of memory loss.
