He's clearly not capable of the job, that Trump-style photo shoot yesterday probably lost a huge proportion of the Labour leave voters and a fair chunk of the Conservatives too.

The battle has been lost and IF he was a leader, like 'WWII' Churchill, he would retreat and regroup. Unfortunately (or fortunately if one prefers) it looks like he's only read up to the chapter on Gallipoli.

And he’s managed to sack his grandson for using his democratic rights.

Amusingly the prorogation of parliament could well backfire on Boris spectacular because parliament is in limbo he can do nothing in the form of legislation and his first act when returning will be to beg EU for an extension.

Johnson looks like a deflated balloon today, his rambling responses are not funny anymore, they're just ramblings, he looks a broken man.
Step 1: be driven to ill health by working conditions you're completely incapable to deal with, leading to you losing your job.
Step 2: DWP ignore the doctor's professional advice, declaring you fit to work and stopping your benefits
Step 3: Die in a ditch

Quite simply it can be seen that with meetings today etc the combined efforts of the opposition parties is to humiliate Johnson ( though so far Cummings efforts to do the same have been very effective ) - his do or die and die in a ditch and its 31st Oct I guarantee pledges will all come back to haunt him. He will be forced to ask for an A50 extension and it will be granted by the 27 because it will be needed to have a GE, get an outcome and hopefully get through the impasse.

The plan will be to have the guy on toast - he has destroyed his own slender majority, got his allies in the DUP under direct threat from Sinn Fein, emboldened the SNP, many many MP's are not standing at the next GE so the BP will be looking at those vacant seats for a chance to make gains, he has lost important people like Ruth Davidson putting seats in Scotland in jeopardy, he has lost support from members of his own family even so when the GE comes all this will be aimed at him plus his constant lying from the one years ago that got him sacked, lying to his ex-wife to lies to the nation over prorogation and not wanting a GE.

I pointed to most of this before he became PM - he is the best thing to happen to the Tories if you are a non-Tory. Any campaign will be taken out of his hands ( like his premiership has been ) as it will be a constant battle to defend himself personally rather than any major policy issues. I have no idea how a GE will work out but with the BP snatching seats off them and his bungling dismissal of Tory stalwarts - no forgetting his own small majority under threat - I am in no doubt Johnson will not be leading his party to a GE victory any time soon.

I can well see these rumours of him resigning becoming reality very soon, he couldn't fight a GE after the 31st October 2019, he would be an even bigger laughing stock than he is now.

You're right, he prorogued Parliament to prevent them from doing what they've done anyway, with lightning speed, it did nothing but stiffen their resolve.

Noticeable the number of happy, smiling, on message politicians, of various parties, all leaving Corbyn's office unified and energised.

Corbyn is good at this sort of thing, he's been a campaigner all his life, and good campaigners know how to unify disparate groups around a single cause.

Can you do that? Even if you could the opposition parties wouldn't agree, in fact they've already signalled they won't go for it.

Yes, the government can table a simple one line bill on Monday to put it into law to hold the election on the 15th. The opposition would have to support it but then the date is locked and can’t be moved.

The HOL would also have to pass it and it would need royal assent so time would be very tight.
