It's a surprising situation when most of industrial North East Wales - Wrexham and most of Flintshire - is now Tory while relatively 'posh' Chester has a Labour MP.
Bit like the US. The wealthy coastal areas mainly democrat. Whilst the poorer interior vote republican because they like guns, but don't like abortion because it's unchristian.

The throwbacks have managed to return the Labour Party to 1935 aided and abetted by their cheerleaders and recyclers on here and elsewhere in the fake reality of the internet. The core Labour support in this country is socally conservative, they abhor the aggressive neo liberalism of Momentum and their digital warriors - which also characterises many of the posters on this thread.

Just woke up.

What possible reason does Corbyn have not to resign immediately?

It's bizarre, he's got to go now. It doesn't take much looking at the numbers to realise this was a labour collapse more than anything else that caused it

O’Brien giving it Corbyn on lbc.
Tore up his script, 5 years in the preparation, hailing the glorious victor and champion of the many - due to the unforseen events of the past few hours.
Guess we won't be seeing quite so many of his 'humiliate a pensioner' vids posted on here now.

You don't think Corbyn (as a leader) and Brexit are not much bigger issues?

I guess we will find out over the coming weeks the reasons why Labour lost so heavily in traditional areas. It will also be interesting to see if this is a long term shift in voting behaviour or many voters have lent their vote to the Tories.
