SNP going for independence referendum ............ that didn't take her long did it? Irish have already set up a working party to see how they could do the same.

You wanted your Brexit so bad didn't you? Now it could just be England trying for a trade deal with the EU ..... A severely weakened position.

Fuck me, you never learn, Britain severely weakened?
I wondered why on earth anyone could possibly believe a person like Corbyn would benefit Labour, but it
now no longer surprises me.

You don't think Corbyn (as a leader) and Brexit are not much bigger issues?

I guess we will find out over the coming weeks the reasons why Labour lost so heavily in traditional areas. It will also be interesting to see if this is a long term shift in voting behaviour or many voters have lent their vote to the Tories.
If Johnson gives them a little of what they hope for the Tories could hold power in those areas for a long time. They've been marginalised for a while, feel like they've been ignored on Brexit and this is the result.

The Tories think the BBC is socialist.

The whole election was populist. Corbyn was and Sturgeon was.

Bbc as a whole might be left leaning. It's news department is stuffed with conservatives and former UKIP people.
