Hahaha you've gotta love YouGov. Every single time the government are in a state of despair they throw out ridiculous poll results that go against all the others. Their latest shows the Cons 14% up on Labour! Meanwhile others hover around 3-5% in the main whilst one that asks if there's a GE after a Brexit extension which puts Labour ahead!

I am a member of You Gov.

I always answer I am a Tory.

Hey Chippy my old chum, you forgot the Marxist reference.

I am dissapointed.
Thank you for reminding everyone.

No-one should be forgetting that McDonnell is a Marxist.

Do people want a Marxist running our economy?

No.

You do, Rascal, but as I've said, thankfully your political preferences are not shared by many voters.

Bercow has been the best speaker since Betty Boothroyd, because he has enabled the legislature to hold the executive to account. Anybody who advocates for the power of the executive at the detriment of the legislature is in danger of leading us into abuse of power by said executive.
I have to dissagree with that statement.

Aside from the many accusations of bullying of his staff and of sweeping under the carpet the results of investigations into his conduct. He is supposed to be independent and non biased in his political stance, but has clearly used and abused his position to influence proceedings in parliment in favour of the remain camp.

Just because you agree with his stance doesn't make it correct. He is suposed to be neutral.

"Clearly" doesn't mean what it used to.

Now it means the opposite, "not clear at all", or more often that not it means "can't construct a case" so I'll just say it's "clear" and anyone who questions it is a Marxist, or extremist, it doesn't matter which they're interchangeable.

As for...

Don't make me laugh, come back with the details of that little crock of shit and see if you can justify it, that would be fun.

True. I'm up in Manch this weekend with my family who are in the main Labour voters, and they've all said they are really torn because they want to remain in the EU but just CANNOT vote for Corbyn.
I heard McDonnell earlier saying that he was going to force BTL landlords to sell to their tenants in a right to buy scheme

Would that not just mean that landlords will give notice to tenants and keep doing that to ensure there are no long-term tenants

This would cause great stress and disruption to many people

Plenty of stuff on line. Check it out yourself fumble, perhaps if you were a little more widely read beyond the socialist worker you wouldnt have to ask everyone else to prove it to you everytime you dissagreed with them. That said with your blinkered view of all things political I very much doubt you will! You are without doubt one of the least balanced posters on the political threads. Debating anything with you is pointless.

No, it has to be more complicated than that. I've not seen a single poll on any question that boils down to leave vs remain, where leave has had a lead, not for at least a year.

https://whatukthinks.org/eu/questio...n-was-right-or-wrong-to-vote-to-leave-the-eu/

there are a tonne of other polls on that site, and many more on others. remain has had a small but utterly consistent lead in all of them.
I think that this why it us best if the next vote is a GE and not a referendum

Exactly what is on offer if you vote Labour at the next GE and they fool enough people into believing they're not putting Len McCluskey in power.
