Ive never voted before because dont feel like any of them represented me, I live in a tight labour-conservative town and i just went to vote for labour.

Mostly because I rely on monthly nhs treatment to live, since 2010 the tory cuts made it harder and harder for me to get treatment and stay healthy.

I really encourage people if they wont be affected too much either way, to vote labour for the sake of others.

Well said.

Good call - but the point I was making was that it is clear that the Labour Education spokesman had not a clue about the detail of the Tuition fees policy and the associated cost driving factors - so people are clearly right to be concerned about the 'robustness' of this 'fully costed manifesto'
Tuition fee abolition won't cost a penny. The government are paying all the fees now, they just want to hide it on a different side of the balance sheet (like PFI).
Everyone keeps saying hardly anyone will pay it back, so what is the point? If you want payback, then 0.5% on income tax for all graduates for 10/15 years would cover it.

Er...four thousand deaths of people having their benefits stopped after being declared fit to work is what could be described as a "kill off" don't you think?

But that hasn't happened. It's a quirk of reporting, taking numerous things out of context

This largely sums up the choice in the election today. For most people, in terms of their day to day existence, it won't really matter who gets in on Friday so it boils down to a fairly clear choice - do we care enough about the people at the bottom, the people who will be hardest hit by another 5 years of austerity.

For me Labour are the only party with any coherent policy on how we provide care for those that are most in need so for that reason alone I would urge people to vote wisely and not give the Tories a clear mandate to carry on punishing the people in our society who can least defend themselves.

Everyone, please go out and vote today, even if nobody floats your boat, spoil your paper.

It's always a shame that the 35-40% who can't be arsed don't turn up and invalidate thier papers.

Imagine the realisation of all the tossers if most of the country voted spoil.

I want a strong economy and no more borrowing en masse. So Tory for me thank you very much.
