Next Gen Cyberpunk is out
Can’t wait it’s dark souls type game but with the Witcher type game play too.
Watched a youtuber stream this the other day and looks miles better. Its half price at the moment so I might get for later in the year.

Amazing series. Some of the work Bioware have(especially Mass Effect 2)Anyone played the mass effect series? For years everyone raved about it, but right now I’m on the first one via game pass but I’m struggling to get into it. It almost feels like a chore playing it at times.
Played the first 3 and really liked them, with ME2 probably the better of the lot.Anyone played the mass effect series? For years everyone raved about it, but right now I’m on the first one via game pass but I’m struggling to get into it. It almost feels like a chore playing it at times.

I read an article with someone who got a test version recently and they shared your exact concerns above. They were whole heartedly sold on it after playing it and really liked the open world concept.Elden ring is going to consume me. I've stayed in the dark intentionally so know very little about it but I am a little concerned about the open world nature of it though. For me, a huge part of darks souls is finding that shortcut through an area and seeing that progress made each death. I'm not sure they'll be able to do that justice with a go anywhere open world approach.
As somebody that imported the Chinese version of demon souls on ps3 long before it even released over here, played through it not being able to read any of it, and has since played all souls-like games I trust fromsoft to smash it.
That's another old one I've been playing on my pc(using RPCS3 emulator). Not that far in but one thing I've noticed, you don't get those fires you get to light bar the start of each level. Is it like this all the way through? I know the games ain't officially linked but one good part of Dark Souls was finally reaching a bonfire mid level after dying a million times.Elden ring is going to consume me. It's been a very long time since I played it but basically yeah. Demon souls is different to dark souls, you pick a world from the nexus, your aim is to get through it from thr start, unlocking shortcuts will make it easier. get to the boss, they'll be a shortcut back allowing you to get to the boss relatively easy if you die, then defeat the boss and that basically unlocks a bonfire which will be the start of "level 2" of that particular world. That's another old one I've been playing on my pc(using RPCS3 emulator). Cheers. Whoever designs these games is one evil f@ck ;)It's been a very long time since I played it but basically yeah. You'll then start from there and work your way to the next boss by the same process to unlock level 3 and eventually level 4 of that world. You can do any level of any world in any order so long as you've unlocked the previous levels of that world by beating the boss associated with it. It's a different, less expansive but also less forgiving approach than dark souls. Imo it's better but that could just be nostalgia for the first of its kind taking over, I haven't revised them and have yet to play the ps5 remake.
