General Videogame Thread

Games absolutely Massive if you don’t follow the glowing Grace spent 2 hours just finding the grace stopping points killed Margit been in the castle for 2 hours also.

Oh was in this cave opened this chest and transported somewhere on another map and took me ages to get back to the main map..

Going to take my time get my level up so reckon it’s going to take me months to finish it.

I used the NPC and i summoned the Jellyfish. I believe my weapon was +2 and I was around level 20. I currently trying Stormveil but feel like I need to level up more and get new weapons.

I believe my Samurai sword is maxed at the moment so going to spend a few hours tonight looking for better weapons.

I did the same, I couldn't deal with his second phase.

Oh was in this cave opened this chest and transported somewhere on another map and took me ages to get back to the main map

I fell for that one too

FINALLY managed to beat Margit this morning after I done a crazy amount of grinding to level up

Playing as The Astrologer and managed to get The Meteorite Staff and Rock Sling spell which are fantastic

The staff can't be upgraded but is S teir which means it scales up with the amount of intelligence you have so I've dumped nearly all my level ups in that.

The Rock Sling spell fires 3 huge rocks which can track a single or multiple enemies. Around Lingrave I'm absolutely wrecking enemies with one shot and beating the mini bosses pretty easy. There's also easy farming spots around the area where you can get around 30-40,000 runes per hour.

Off the investigate Stormveil Castle later and then the north which I believe is significantly tougher than Lingrave

Been in the castle for around 4 hours total it’s massive loads of places to go you get far and then you get killed!

That's a novel approach, cheers.
But he's right. Just follow the story for the first 3-4 hours. Only start exploring once you get acces to a better horse and better weapons from the gunsmith. Both are found in the first town you visit called Valentine.

If you start causing mayhem before that your not going to last long as your weapons are nowhere near good enough.

The first 3-4 hours serves as a tutorial as there's a lot to learn

Playing RDR2 for the first time, any tips?
I've had this for ages but it's just not gripped me tbh. I know i'll eventually play it and start liking it, it's just about getting in the right frame of mind :D

Talking of which, i've finally got back into The Witcher 3 and for the first time, i'm actually enjoying it. It's amazing how well it holds out graphics-wise on a PC considering it was released in 2015. The same goes for GTA V, both of these without mods still look great. I imagine if i installed some of the graphics mods then they would be amazing.

I've seen some of the GTA 5 mod videos and 2bh it's a bit uncanny valley, you need that overly exaggerated Rockstar touches to make it feel like GTA.

Well I'm at Valentine and I've just rescued Sean from the bounty hunters. I quite like the horse I've been given 2bh, is there a discernible difference between them?

Ah ok thought you just started. There's definitely better horses at the stables. Stamina your looking for and also an upgraded saddlebag to carry more things. Go exploring to the north and south of Valentine you should be fine but DON'T do anything daft in Valentine as the lawmen will wreck you. Most of the early quests are centered in Valentine apart from a couple with Hosea

Already been locked up for knocking a bloke over whilst on my horse and accidentally shooting at the newspaper boy when trying to buy a paper.

Hahahaha that was me all the time at first just randomly shooting someone when all I wanted to do was interact with them and got the controls mixed up. Absolute havoc breaks out.

Whenever you get a horse run everywhere with the right stick clicked in (R3) this will have you constantly patting the horse and make your binding level increase almost instantly.

Yeah i think its fine how it is as well tbh. I'm a bit ashamed to say that i never finished it on the PS3 so i've been having a go at it again. Playing with a higher frame rate def makes it better.
