General Videogame Thread

I struggled to get through even the first part if the first one, found it clunky and the controls a bit weird. May give this a go.
I really enjoyed it apart from the map which is absolutely awful. Apparently that has been addressed and the combat is a lot more intuitive and smoother now. Also the quest system has been completely overhauled which makes the game better. 140GB download though!!

Really busy few days for console games with that coming to gamepass, you've got the Fallout 4 next gen update which is supposed to be brilliant out tomorrow plus Baldurs Gate 3 is getting a massive update this weekend. Good job I'm not back in work till Tuesday!!

Also been playing a lot of EA Masters Golf

Great game, the graphics are stunning on Series X and there's a shit ton of stuff to do. And unlike other EA games the micro transactions are not overly aggressive and everything can be earned in-game without a huge grind

Make sure to go to the Playstation store and get the PS5 upgrade.

If you don't do that then you're just playing the PS4 update not the new PS5 version.
On Xbox so it downloaded automatically.

Fucking Bethesda though. Had about 30 mods and it's completely wiped them from my load order and most of them don't work now as they are incompatible

The actual graphics and frame rate is much much better. I'll have to start a new game tomorrow

WAB already "reviewed" it and said its one of the best game he's ever played.

City Planner has a series and says he thinks its incredible

Seen a few cities skylines players playing it, might be in part due to how badly cities skylines 2 has gone down too.

Calling it now, No Rest for the Wicked is going to be an all-timer when it leaves early access in a year or so, or whenever it will be. The potential is off the charts.

Please can anybody advise if the PS portal is as laggy as the ps remote play app?

I have pretty decent broadband at home and finding remote play leggy.

You can try connecting your device directly to your router via Ethernet for a more stable connection, if possible.
Question to the Counter Strikes here, are you also watching lots of live tournaments from this website? IS it more fun for you to watch or to play?

Cheers mate, I'm going to buy an ethernet cable and connect the ps5 directly to the router.

I've had a very brief go. Definitely one to sit down with I think. Going to try and give it a few hours tomorrow, but it seems polished enough.
