Genesis.

If I could only own any one of their releases it would be Seconds Out, partly for that very reason.
Fantastic album Seconds Out, would like to find some bootlegs from that tour to hear other songs get the Phil Collins vocal

I’ve never really listened to anof their stuff post …And then there were three but been on a bit of a prog rock YouTube binge over the last few days and now feel inclined to listen to how they evolved. Listening to Duke now for the first time ever.

Lucky you. Enjoy :-)

I'm not sure I have ever heard a genesis song from when Gabriel was in it which seems odd. Were they a bit radio unfriendly with their music?

Plenty of radio recordings available on Youtube or Amazon (eBay as well) if you want a CD version

This one from 1976 is also well worth a listen if you can't get the previous one

Just listened to in the beginning and half of suppers ready, prog rock is not my bag really. Like a bit of Peter Gabriel though and So Is one of my favourite albums.

The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway.

If you don't like that album, stick to the later stuff.
Peter Gabriel era Genesis is as good as they ever got imo. Once PC took over, they might as well be Supertramp.

Wouldn’t say that, like all the Gabriel stuff, plus the first 2 Collins. Can’t stand Lamb lies down on broadway, might be a decent single album in it ,to be fair.
