He'd be the first ever play to go through our entire age system if he makes a first team debut.
 
If we're picking people on merit then he has to 100% start on Saturday. No Yaya, seemingly no lampard now. That leaves just the nando twins so we have to give him a game especially considering he showed that he's more than physically ready and he'd have no problems slotting in and giving his all.

Poor lad diden´t even make the bench..
 
we really could of done with some young players today to add that bit of energy and passion we were lacking. They aren't gonna play now all season

League One side Scunthorpe have signed George Evans on loan from City until the end of the season, according to @HumbersideSport.
 
Official. Seems really strange considering he already played a part for Crewe, one would have thought he's more than suited for Championship level by now.

And also I'm still bitter that he didn't feature against Boro whatsoever, but what do I know.
 
Clearly didn't do enough at Crewe to convince anyone higher up to take a chance on him, even though he was suprisingly good in Abu Dhabi. Hopefully he can prove more on this loan to give him a shot at a higher level next year
 
George Evans has signed for Scunny United until the end of season, will do the lad good playing in a more competitive environment.
