Out of all the youngsters on show today this lad was the one that shined, which was surprising to me because I wasn't sure he deserved to go to Abu Dhabi.
Maybe Manuel has seen something in him and chose him to go??
Looks a good all rounder, his ping to Jovetuc for his goal was top notch as well.
Definitely should against Boro'

He was unsung during his loan spell with Crewe last season so it's good to see him involved in a first team trip like this one.

He did great. Delighted for him.
Imo the reason he looked more confident was because he is more confident, for the reason that he has played football regularly against adults & none of these kids have ever previously been given that opportunity. If we give them a chance, most of them would soon be knocking it around just like he did.
Sinclair on the other hand, will still be running head first into blind alleys & falling over.

He seems to be built well for the league and could be some good press around a local lad making his way through the youth system after Chelsea getting lauded for loftus-cheek.
One thing that Lampard seems to add to our team that we don't have for the majority of the time is that direct ball forward splitting a defence similar to the one Evans played to Stevan today.
