I liked Evans when he played in friendlies, thought he looked fearless and showed a lot of composure, worth giving a chance. Its the problem city are gonna have tho, Pellegrini gets the job because of previous success with youth, gets too man city and has no interest in youth any more just wants to buy big players.

Damn I just read the reports and to be honest I have mixed feelings. I am of course pleased for George in that he has a job going into the future. However part of me is disappointed because I think he could have done at least as well as Fernando, if not better because he is a better distributor of the ball. Also I desperately wanted a local lad to make the grade.

But that's football and it's a measure of his character that he went and sat with all the Walsall fans today. Al the best George.

what are we doing ? this kid should have been given a chance !! he's done everything asked of him and is more than good enough to at least be a squad player. is there any point of young players at city with pelle in charge. i know nacho has been given a chance, but he seems reluctant to play him.

Looks like he's being sold permanently makes sense because he's out of contract in the summer. Reports that he's going to Reading would be a decent move

I guess it was too much to ask for Nacho AND Evans to be given a breakthrough in one season. Once we bought Delph he was never getting much chance anyways
