Get Behind Robinho

He was our top scorer last season and that was from the left wing!

New Manager, so every player should be given a clean slate....

He might have played badly, but at least he tried!

There's no doubt that the City fans idolised Robinho from day one. However our love for him has evaporated over time as we gradually realised the horrible truth. Robbie doesn't love City back and wants to end things and go play the field.

Sadly for Robbie, he ain't the most eligible man in town anymore and his advances towards a sultry spanish senorita are not being returned.

He's lost his touch and maybe he ruefully realises that the grass ain't greener on the other side-but it's too late for him as we've found a Welsh Wing Wizard who's weaved his way into our hearts.

Err... sorry-too much festive booze-time for a siesta...

Is this the same player we are talking about, who everytime he lost the ball yesterday didn't track back at all, couldn't control a cross field pass, just before he got taken off.
For gods sake I hope he isn't in the team at Middlesbrough next week, if he can't do the job at places like Lpool, Utd, Spurs etc. etc and he hasn't, then there is no way he will be able to put a shift in at a place like Boro on a wet and cold Jan afternoon.
I have never and would never boo a City player but lets face it 18 months of which we have seen a dozen good games tell us something.

Get behind him. I swear I heard a couple if boo's around me for Robinho, audible just under all the wanking over Bellamy.

Correct. This could only happen at City. Hopefully Mancini will ignore the wankers and show some faith in Robinho. Something that is clearly lacking from his so called 'supporters'.

There is no getting around the fact he was poor yesterday. People make so many excuses for him (Hughes hates him, he is actually a striker, he's not a left winger) but those were all invalid yesterday. I can see why Barcelona have lost interest in him.

its probably a self fulfilling prophesy, if people boo him enough after coming back from quite a serious injury, he will want to leave. when Ive seen his face he looks a happy sort of a fella. where as miserable cunts look just that.

i myself like de jong a tough tackling, none compromising type of player, there again i don't expect him to waltz around a couple of players an shoot into the top corner of the net. robinho on his day is a special talent i hope we now have a manager who will get the best out of him or fuck him off at the end of the season.

Stick Benjani back in then.

Listen most of the crowd were pleased when bellamy was coming on and that slimy shister robincon was coming off so to call at least 75% of the crowd wankers is a tad harsh. Robinho doesnt want to play for us that is obvious he is disgracing the shirt and taking the piss out of the fans he is a spinless mard arse tosser who should move on,how many challenges did he bottle , how many shit soft passses ,how many shit soft shots. He needs to go and go now and allthis lets get behind himshit , we did and he shat in our faces ...

I think Mancini (and our fickle fans) should show some faith in Robinho because he's a quality player who will come good, despite what the boo boys currently think. A bit like Tevez, and Richards, and SWP, and Santa Cruz, and Lescott, etc etc. Benjani, on the other hand, can fuck off. He's shit.

lol what a dick

I bet when he nexts score you'll be on here wanking over him like everyone did after tevez got fit and found his form or after RSC got his goals against sunderland. If people would only realise it takes atleast 5 games for players to get proper match fit after being out for months you'd support him rather than act like a knob and get on your own players back

He's always ducked out of tackles. Lost a lot of confidence, but he will get it back. Just needs a goal

Spot on.

These are the same people who were sucking Fergie off for making the right decision to sell Tevez because 'he doesn't score enough goals' lol.

Agreed, he is a world class player just back from a long lay-off.
He was singled out last night on MOTD, every error he made in the game was shown. There was no coverage of our new style of play just a castigation of our most expensive player.

I hope Robi finds his form soon and shuts up the people on this forum who parrot what they read in the papers, what the pundits say, and hang on to mistakes rather than appreciate a bit of genius.

Just my opinion.

Was quiet yesterday but not poor imo.

He should be supported like any other player who plays for us. Just because we paid £32million for him, his name ends in 'inho' and he's the most naturally gifted footballer at the club, doesn't mean he's immune from human reactions such as loss of form and confidence.

Agreed

when he starts putting a shift in and fully utilises the undoubted talent he has for the good of the team, he will once again get my full support.

At his best he's the jewel in our crown and we have no other players that can match his natural ability. I've no doubt that he wants to succeed at City and I've also no doubt that part of that desire to be successful involves increasing his own market value and the minute he starts to show some form again he'll start to make noises about wanting to move to a bigger club to become the best player in the world etc.
Yesterday I didn't think he had as bad a game as everybody is making him out to have had. He had a hand in both the goals - flicking the first ball onto Petrov for him to bang into the net and then passing the ball to Zabaleta for him to get the cross into the box. Ok it wasn't vintage but it didn't deserve all the negative press that's its got.
I find it a concern that the MOD pundits seem to think it's necessary to question his attitude rather than look at what he achieved and wonder why they are trying to put nails in his coffin. Remember how a certain Ronaldo used to strop with his team mates when something did not go his way. Just because Robinho has a bit of a strop with Tevez we don't need to want him out of our club. If anything yesterday he was guilty of trying too hard.

Was gona say he never bien known for his tracking back and getting stuck in,i dont want him getting stuck in and clatering into tackels,i want him doing what he was doing last season, which im sure he will get back
