Saw The Black Keys @ Millenium Square/Leeds last Tuesday, thought they were excellent.
Support was Miles Kane.
Week before was Electric Six @ The Brudenell, 26 songs in 75 mins in/out job done, none of this talking between songs nonsense :)

Went to Piece Hall for the first time last night to watch The Libertines. What a great venue and the gig itself was brilliant.

Just watching some sets from the Transmit Festival on Iplayer. Brooke Combe is really good so going to try and catch her at some point. Supporting The Coral in Liverpool at the end of the year but I’m already out and don’t really like The Coral!
I’ve got nothing lined up now until December. Inspirals at The Parr Hall followed a week later watching Manchester Band Arkayla.

About half the population do have passports, I’d never be without one that’s for sure. Off to Spain next year :)That background is stunning. Saw Neil Young on Friday. His voice is getting a bit dodgier, but he still puts on a great show. My only minor criticism is that the Chrome Hearts seems to be in awe of the old man and don’t want to overstep their boundaries, which leaves them playing little too restrained and conservative. Only on the encore of Hey Hey, My My did they come anywhere near the gloriously sloppy racket of Crazy Horse.
