Out watching Boomtown Rats at Bridgewater Hall
Says support is Professionals but I don't think it's the Paul Cook Steve Jones one

Paul Cook is still in the Professionals but Steve Jones has left.

Band On The Wall this evening after the match, Martin Stephenson is playing his brilliant 1986 album, Boat To Bolivia. Where has the time gone?

I went to see him doing that at Hamsterley town hall about a month ago. £12 a ticket. Absolute bargain when I saw the costs of tickets at his other gigs. You had to take your own booze as no bar.

Levellers tonight, love em! just got home.....played whole Zeitgeist album, which is not my favourite or their best, but absolutely stunning live band.
They are everything Glastonbury was and should be.....not the absolute pile of shite it's been turned into. "There's only one way of life, and that's your own" .....One Way is imo one of the best songs ever written.......and my 'usual' taste is rock/metal.

Off to see the lottery winners tonight in Halifax, appreciate not everyone's cup of tea but really happy music played with a bit of fun and humour ,also banging tunes as well.
50% will love Thom the lead singer, he will drive 50% bonkers ,but should be a good night out.

Absolutely fantastic really really enjoyed it ,great gig and funny as well.10/10 from me and I've seen hundreds of bands .

Went to see Getdown Services @ The Brudenell Social Club on Wednesday, bonkers as always.

Dreadzone Vs The Orb tonight at Project House

Did fancy going to Live In The City (Leeds) tomorrow as there's a few bands I fancy seeing, like Fat Dog, Family Battenburg and Adult DVD (again) but I'm not sure 3 gigs in a week is good for the bank balance :)

Saw the Lottery Winners in Edinburgh, last Tuesday, the first gig of their tour.
Lots of sound issues, that Thom handled fairly well.
Thom sounds a lot like Peter Kay, even looking a bit like Keith Lard.
Not completely convinced by them...

I have a spare ticket for English Teacher on Thursday 20th November at Albert Hall in town. It's free to a good home - DM me if you want it!

I went to that there London over the weekend to stay with my daughter and for us to go and see The Hives at Alexandra Palace...my birthday present from her!

Have loved the Hives for years and have never been to see them....i expected a lot, and they fully delivered...genuinely the best live band i have ever seen....incredible!

Yard Act were support...and were decent, have seen them before

Went to see the Horrors last Friday at New Century with my son and step son, I thought they were decent but my lad thought it was one of the worst gigs he'd been to. The hall was nowhere near full and the crowd was pretty flat to be fair.
