Had a few hours in the garden today and finished the book. Very good indeed. I've done an honest full review on amazon.

Cheers mate! Thanks :)

Cracked the face of my watch when Dickov scored, it's since then been my 'lucky' watch....it stopped on the 13-05-2012 at 4.56.....the exact time of Aguero's goal....

I don't believe you.

It's true, honestly....
It's still the same time, no way will it ever be changed....

Have just started reading this book on me kindle phone app in a quiet moment at work!

Was quite suprised to see my name quoted in the chapter summarising the season, that sets the context for the Gillingham match. This flashback did remind me how I found it quite therapeutic writing for the MCIVTA twice weekly emailed newsletter. It enabled me to channel my anger & frustration that I felt so strongly at the time.

Tough times indeed. However, you did feel more connected to the club, more camaraderie with your fellow City fans. It was, as if, we're in this together and we're going to get this club out of this mire - somehow.

Certainly, I don't ever recall, being threatened, spat at and called a 'glory hunting southern wanker', by other City fans, as happened to me and my son at the Arsenal game last season, simply because I have a southern accent.

It was cool to support City in '99, maybe not so now.

Nevertheless, I'll still be at Wembley Sunday, and Newcastle the following Sunday ...

Cool/Glory hunter, whatever. The football is just too damn good to miss any of it now.

Ta! :-)

If there's not a more glowing review than Joe Royle calling it a good "toilet book", I don't know what is.
