Glastonbury 2024

If you can't laugh at a guy brave enough to get up there with parkinson's disease then what can you laugh at eh?

I just didn't think they'd be quite as obvious and on the nose as to do it but fair enough they did and seem to have come out with lots of credit so perhaps I read it wrongly.

Now watching Confidence Man on the I Player. They are basically the Australian Vengaboys but they have tunes. Saw them supporting New Order last year and thought they were shit, but they're grown on me.

Norman Cook has the looks and mannerisms of John Lydon's younger brother (Johnny Rotten to those of you too young), just seen a short clip of him, uncanny or maybe the last glass of vino I've just had.

I’m 70 next year and I thought he was ace. I saw Wilson Picket live.
Not edgy enough for my taste, that said as a band they are clearly talented, have an instantly recognisable style to their music and with the lighting and pyrotechnics can put on a show.
I can’t say I like or dislike their music it’s in the same box as things like Bryan Adams and Ed Sheeran. It’s the musical equivalent of vanilla ice cream, digestive biscuits or ready salted crisps, which are nice, all very predictable, but just doesn’t excite me.
