It's not through a lack of pace to our play, we try to break quickly with the ball when we can, and the slickness of our passing brought us our goal. We carved open Liverpool if you remember Barry's goal, and that was after a consistent spell of passing. I think the issue, which will take match practice to resolve, is that often players don't know where to move. If you watch closely, at times the players seem to get in each others way. Barry often moves wide left to help the left back out and against Juve Tevez was also there which led to Zabaleta, Barry and Tevez all in each others way at times. Similarly, Yaya seemed to be allowed to move forward but was a little slow in supporting Tevez or Ade when required. When the team is more used to playing together and the players know who likes to move where and what runs they will all make, then we will be fine and create much more shooting opportunities. It is the lack of movement that causes the lack of shooting opportunities. And lack of movement results in players not sure of where to go because they aren't used to playing in the team together. Having creative players like Tevez, Silva, Johnson and Yaya will mean we will make chances but it will take time before we are really able to find the quick passes because to do that you have to almost expect players to be in certain places.
