Haven't gone through the whole thread, so apologies if this has already been mentioned.I think it was around Christmas/new year period in late '81, and we were playing Leeds United (spit!) at Maine Road. They were the most negative team I had seen up to then (or indeed since). Constant time wasting, playing offside, back passes to the 'keeper (younger BM'ers; ask your parents!). God it was dull. Anyway tricky Trev scored a last minute winner (Platt Lane end IIRC) and the old ground erupted. That day defined ''Karma'' for me. Not sure why it sticks in the old grey matter, as it didn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, but I've never forgotten it. An honourable mention also to a Tommy Caton (RIP) free kick at The City Ground in Nottingham in the same era. Again, nothing particularly special about the goal, but it sticks in the memory.

Your description of the Leeds game is spot on....... they were negative from the 1st to the last minute. Simply stiffled the game.
However........ I always recalled it was Reeves who hit the winner - I was right behind the goal in the Platt Lane end....
Here is the proof your honour ;)

Dzeko to make it 5/1 v Spurs.Superb effort.Only problem being i had a bet on 4/1 at odds of 100/1.Weird feeling.

Berkovic vs Ipswich in the cup during Keegans era.
Corner to the edge of the box and Eyal just volleyed it in.
It was a Sunday night, but untolds of Blues there - the whole day was nuts!!
This was in 2001-02. They were in the Prem and had relegated us the previous May, but we totally shredded them and won 4-1.
I think Eyal's goal was our first just before half time, and the moaning fuckwit on the tannoy announced it should have been a goal kick rather than a corner. Oh dear, what a pity.
Having made that bloody stupid journey we were away at Newcastle in the following round and once again kicked off at 7pm on Sunday.
The BBC don't like being reminded who broadcast the Sunday night FA Cup games when they discuss stupid kick-off times and treating the fans like shit.

Jim Tolmie against Chelsea away in 1983 . A brilliant strike from the scots man .
