my 1st ever city game, david phillips 25yrd screamer v carlisle 1983,i was right behind nets in platt lane & was on motd every week because it won goal ov the month!! (typical city lost 3-1)!!!

An honourable mention also to a Tommy Caton (RIP) free kick at The City Ground in Nottingham in the same era. Again, nothing particularly special about the goal, but it sticks in the memory.
