Not too shabby a record there I think you have just grown rather fond of Edin.
So how is that "much better" than:
Edin Dzeko
206 appearances = 110 goals (Wolfsburg + City)
46 appearances = 22 goals (Bosnian national team)
I'm struggling to find Higuain "much better" statistically like some people are making him out to be??
+ Higuain didnt have a chance to go against EPL centre backs...:-)
Guaranteed his "touch" would suffer a bit in EPL :-)
Some people would be up for dissapointment...book it.
If a player is a significant improvement over Dzeko (which Higuain is clearly NOT) - then great - GET HIM...otherwise - no thanks.
If we're talking stats, then Edin's are far better than even RVP's and on that basis we should not be selling any of our forwards and trying to bring others in.
Well if you want me to be blunt, there are several players including two at our own club already who I think would score more if they happened to play in the crap Spanish La Liga for one of the best teams in the world with the excellent attacking support from midfield which he receives regularly. There. That's it. He's overrated in my opinion because so far I haven't seen him do it when it isn't a stroll in the park. So yes when i say he's overrated, I'm putting it mildly because I have no idea how he would handle an actually competitive league.BoyBlue_1985 said:Neville Kneville said:BoyBlue_1985 said:yeah 103 goals in 220 matches is shockingly poor really
He didn't say shockingly poor, he said overrated & I agree with him. Tevez is a class above.
He said somewhat overrated to put it mildly if we have to be pedantic over it
I dont think he is overrated at all as I dont think he is rated up with the top players
He is however a goalscorer and he does that fantastically well especially if you take his younger formative years he is right up there with the best in goals to game ratios.

Well, if you ask me we SHOULDNT...we had the best strike-force in EPL - and I would not mess with that unless new guy will be CLEAR UPGRADE (RVP, Ibrahimovic, Falcao, etc.).
Since none of those "big shots" appear available - you really want to fuck with your strikeforce, which is really YOUNG and has potential for more improvement...to do what - bring another "needs a year of adjustment" in??
