Goodbye Mario? (merged)

Out with the old and in with the new as they say.

Provided some great moments as many have said will miss him when it comes to taking a penalty but his heart and mind and everything else for that matter including his child was not at the club for a large part of his tenure and it was best for him to move on.

A tad concerned we did not get another striker in either short or long term to replace him but hopefully we will manage with what we have until May.

Nothing more to say other than he will probably still be more known for what he creates outside the game once he hangs up his boots which is a pity for him long term because as RM and others have said he has the talent to be a top notch striker.

Of course I remember that. I was genuinely shocked at how quiet the place was. I used to go there with my brother and was talking to him over Xmas about how empty the place was when I was in there with you. Don't worry, next time we can go to a co-operative, organic, mother earth restaurant and have lentil and yoghurt bake with elder flower wine.
Oh how little ye know me.

Wasn't expecting this sort of reaction. It really has irked you far more than it should have.

It shouldn't bother me, but it really annoys me when people from other countries moan about our food. Someone with the resources of a Cheshire based Premier League footballer can eat what they want, when they want, as well as eat at some of the world's best restaurants within three hours drive, something a resident of Milan could not boast. I lived there for a short while in the early-naughties and it is well short of being a 'great' city.

Agree with him about our weather, mind.

Mario is right British food is shite, it dull and boring. Never ever go out and eat English food, rarely cook it.

Perhaps you should broaden your horizons beyond Brewer's Fayre and Harvester, mate.

What would you suggest, beyond dead animal and carrots

The food in England from my memory is up with the best of them but again it depends where and when and to be fare some eateries don't have the resources to compete with others and shouldn't be judged accordingly.

Overall the standard is far superior to what it was when I was over there in 78.

Mario's response to the reporter while direct and a tad humerous again shows his immaturity.

If he has a beef with the paper or the particular journalist there are better ways to get his point across than at his first press conference at Milan.
