Re: Goodbye Mario?

To the guy who said the last decent game he had for us was the six one, you obviously don't go or do not watch games. Mario has hardly played this season and when he has in my opinion he has played well. The Champs league home game v Ajax we were two nil down at HT and he came on and played superbly, setting Aguero's goal up and being denied a clear penalty in the last seconds. The next game he played was v Wigan and he scored a crucial goal. Has he played since ? Oh yeah, he came on v Watford for ten minutes, did more than Dzeko had done in 80 mins and set the goal up for Lopez, a great shot that rebounded for a tap in. Those who say he does nowt are talking nonsense. I think this will be a mistake by City. This is a guy who single handedly got Italy to the Euro 2012 final, playing at the highest level. Let's see average English players like Welbeck ( or even Rooney ) do that !!

Re: Goodbye Mario?

If you do go Mario, many thanks for your outstanding contribution to our continued success.
Cheers

If you are going to be an attention seeking stalker and try to insult posters actually contributing to the thread get your english correct.

It pales IN significance when compared is what you should have said you halfwit.

This is why I do not take you seriously now stop talking to me.
It is actually "pales into insignificance" if we're seeking to use the correct English idiom.

Actually, it's "pales into insignificance". I already clocked that error, with partial thanks to JC. You coming along trying to correct me in an incorrect way is quite funny and unsurprisingly stupid.

You're well within your rights and as someone has pertinently mentioned elsewhere in this thread, what Mario believes is a sideshow, has no real impact on the negotiation process.

However, the real show has been going on for weeks behind the scenes and it's playing out now.

City aren't stupid and are looking at a few things, but Mario staying is not an option we want to even contemplate at this stage.

The boy has gone, both in his own mind and what he has been doing behind the scenes.

We certainly wouldn't want Mario anywhere near here, after the window.

So was he saying his goodbyes at training yesterday?

Or is he with the squad still tonight?

Or both?

Thanks

Both. His goodbyes were for people he does not expect to see again.

He's under contract until otherwise, and must adhere to those responsibilities.

I would not be surprised either way, on the bench or a flight to Italy before tonight.

Right fair enough.. will be surprised if he's involved tonight, would have thought too risky incase of any injury picked up.

Lets just get the money(or 1st installment of it) and not have to deal with Milan again for a while hopefully.

My sentiments exactly and why I started this thread. He did a job for us we won trophies with him in the team contributing to each trophy success. For that he will always be a City legend to me. The double at the swamp with the "Why always me" and the fans of Rio and co holding his shirt after the FA cup semi will go down in footballing history. And we were there ;)

No, he played for a club who happened to be winning things at that time, but it wasn't due to him being the main player in that. In regards to the cup and the league win here, he had an outstanding game in the semi and the final, as did Yaya and others. For the title he pushed a pass forward to Aguero, something people keep on going on about but like I said earlier, had he not been sent off on the occasions he was, maybe this 'talent' he supposedly has would have come into play and we would have won the games we didn't when he was missing, meaning we wouldn't have had to have waited until that last kick of the season. I wouldn't say he has played a significant role in anything, he's merely played his part but he could have done more.

You forgotten about the 13 goals he scored in the league last season?

Didactic, are you actually Mario himself, or perhaps Enoch?! You get very tetchy when it comes to Mario.
Don't you hate it when a poster become preoccupied with a particular subject.
Have you got an agenda against Pigeonho?

Haven't you heard? There is no agenda.

Haha na but stupid comments like he will end up dead and should be playing in a lower league just deserve to be addressed with the disgust they deserve. Also the he has contributed nothing since being here crowd get under my skin. The usual stalkers I just laugh off because they would follow me from thread to thread regardless just so they get my attention.
