I understand your point, but then I see a player like Suarez, who is vilified, if not more, than Balotelli. Yet that has not stopped him from scoring or doing his talking on the pitch.
Many City fans would have ignored his eccentricities if Balo had put his head down and did his best during a game. The fact that Mancini said he was not training properly, combined with his latest statement that he wanted to move to Milan for a long time, means that he just gave up..
I'm sad to see Balo leave without realizing his potential for City, but also mainly because Mancini is sad at being forced to let him go..
