Then you need to watch a bit more.
I have mate for the last 3 years
And dzekos record is far far better
Thats enough for me :)
I didn't think you so simple mate.

Sam
You have gone on record as not being a big dzeko fan and a mario fan
Am i going to win an argument with you on this one?

Mario is not finished yet either. By the sounds of it, The Italian striker and his chicken hat could be back at the Etihad Stadium soon, cheering on his old team-mates. Or, at the very least, he might decide to gate-crash a Roberto Mancini press conference. Either way, he is going to miss Manchester...

"Being at City was an important part of my life and career. I needed to grow up like a player and as a person and it has been a very good experience for me," Balotelli continues.

"I will always be interested in Manchester City and their fortunes. I really hope that City can win the league again this year and beat United.

"I think there are great players at the club and a great manager too. The club will be very successful in the future and that makes me happy."

"For sure I will remember my brilliant team-mates, the manager and all the supporters," "They are the best, they were great with me and I will always have a very special place in my heart for City, it's a great club with a great future.

"I thank them for all of their support of me. Maybe one day we will see each other again.

"I think to win the Premier League was a very special moment, and I am proud to have been a part of that."

Well said Mario. You'll always be part of the history of our great club. Life won't be the same without you around. Might be better, might be worse but it won't be quite the same. Good luck in Milan.

Ha, not if you think Dzeko is more talented than Mario no.

That is different from saying "who scored the most goals or showed more application".

As an example, Charlie Adam had a better record for Blackpool in terms of goals and assists than Modric did for Spurs, but there is no doubting that Modric is more talented and better placed to walk into the Madrid squad.

If Mario is allowed a run as lead striker (something he never got at City as he was always on the left - and as such your comparisons with Dzeko are foolhardy) at Milan, then I am certain he will be top scorer in Seria A for the next few years.

Thanks for the memories Mario, you will always be a huge factor of our first premier league title win 2011/12. All the best at AC.

Kind words from the enigma that remains Mario.

I think every City fan sincerely wishes Mario the very best for the future. He was a major participant in the transformation of City and winning the title.

Underneath all the hysteria he has always seemed a genuinely nice guy. Some of the videos of him in quieter moments demonstrate this.

I thoroughly enjoyed the tribute on the OS.

There was certainly never a dull moment with Mario around.

All the best Mario.

Disgraceful. Absolutely disgraceful comments. How dare he prove the haters wrong when they said he'd be slagging us off over the coming weeks...

Be careful mate. This was their last bit of hope that he would slag us off for them all to say "told you so". Lots of credit to Mario, told it as it is, says he loves the club and fans. Would love him to return one day.

I'm not interested in getting embroiled in an argument about this with the so-called haters but I don't buy this theory that he never wanted to be here and I actually think, all things considered, he enjoyed his time with us and he enjoyed living over here. IMO it's only because it was AC Milan that came in that he showed any real interest in leaving - they're the club he supported as a kid so his head was always going to be turned once they showed an interest.

As for his comments, the only surprise is that anyone is surprised about them. Some might think he's making the right noises but I think he's being largely genuine. Apparently he was totally made up when he first saw that YouTube video of the City fans on the train to Blackburn singing the Balotelli song so he clearly appreciated the support we gave him.

I do not understand the argument here 30 goals in 80.

3 cups in which he was a MAJOR, MAJOR factor.

His time with us was successful even more successful than Van Persies time at Arsenal
or Saurez time at Liverpool. The game is about accolades not about who you like or do not like. Mario constantly wins trophies where ever he goes not many professionals can say that. He will shine at Milan too where the game is more about technique and skill rather than the fast paced, strength based PL.

Should have been more

Honours can be misleading sometimes though.

David May won 2 League titles, 2 FA Cups, 2 Community Shields and 1 Champions League during his spell with Man United. Nobody would say he made an epic contribution and he ended up being ranked 43rd out of "The Top 50 Worst Footballers" in the Times.

And no, I'm not saying David May was ever a better footballer than Balotelli, I'm just saying that sometimes, stats don't always show the perfect picture.

Took the 45 shirt. Good luck to the lad he never settled over here he wasn't allowed to thanks to the great British press.

Exactly this. Add the FA too that as well. He actually made the back page one time with a headline something like 'Bad boy Balotelli at it again.'
His crime and the picture to prove it. Parked on double yellows, whilst getting cash from an ATM. Good fucking grief! Criminal!!! I do that. Everybody who drives does it. Says everything about the whole attitude towards him.
Good luck Mario and I really do mean that.

Hardly helped himself though did he

But as you say good luck to the lad

Goodbye Mario. All the best unless of course, when you face us in a match. I will always remember the assist that won us the title, the 6-1 demolition of the rags and the perfect penalties.

Can't fully understand the unwarranted hating towards the guy when he was one of ours but at least all the bitter bashing is gone now. A new scapegoat will appear but I hope not.

Goodbye Mario, thanks for your contribution.

my highlight was the goal with the shoulder and THAT pass to Aguerooooooo.

Good luck
