Goodbye Martin.

Don't get some of you,I really don't.

Think back to when Petrov came in.We'd just watched the biggest shower of shite ever under Pearce-we hadn't scored at home for 11 games.
Then all of a sudden we had our best winger and crosser of a ball since Barnes,he scored some terrific goals-yes he's a shithouse in the tackle but so are many other far better players.
I don't remember the likes of Henry, Ronaldhino or tranny getting stuck in very often but they seem to be appreciated for what they do going forward...... ho hum......

Petrov got a bad injury last season then fucked up by his national manager through no fault of his own,but until the return of SWP and the purchase of Bellamy was still our only main outlet down the flanks.
He more often than not delivered when asked and has scored some crucial goals this season-none more so than the one against Scunthorpe that set us on our way.I still say he's one of the best wingers in the PL on his day-and before anyone says "yeh but his day aint that often" I would remind them that Lennon,SWP etc. get accused of exactly the same thing.
I also know who I'd back to score 9 times out of 10 in a one-on-one with the keeper-and it wouldn't be Lennon or SWP.

He's (understandably) lost a bit of pace but he's still deadly on his left foot and would surely have worried the rags for 20 minutes down the wing last week...

He probably won't be a first choice for much longer but I think he deserves a little more respect for what he's brought to the team since we signed him for a stupidly low fee of £4.7 million....less than Everton paid for a 32 year old Sylvain Distin.

If there is anyone with any doubt that Martin Petrov will leave at the end of the season then I would love your reasons why you believe that.

The main reason I feel he will leave is his moody, sulky nature and his disinterested play at times. He was absolutely dreadful against Portsmouth and put in no effort whatsoever.

If Mancini really wanted to keep a player whose deal expires in the summer transfer window then he would have started negotiations a while back now. I may be wrong and this may be going on behind the scenes but for me the signing of Adam (almost typed Michael there!) Johnson was the writing on the wall in my books and the preperation for his departure long-term.

Is there anyone with an opposing feeling to this? It has a bit of a feeling of inevitability about it.
You could haev said the same about 8 other City players

We've established that he doesn't watch. Just look at the Johnson remark? He thinks he's never played in the premiership. The irony of stating that people don't watch the game with their eyes open and he's just been caught hook, line and sinker!

Now you're right, Johnson is world class and better than Petrov and Robinho and Bellamy and Tevez combined.

Cock

I think we've established your the cock here mate. You made a statement and it was 100% wrong so then you turn it round to something else by including players nobody has mentioned. If you can't take it then don't play with the big boys, now hurry up as mummy has got your farleys ready for you.

Prick. But at least your username is spot on.

I'm quite happy to bet you £100 that he stays.

Your assessment of him is also completely wrong.
Mancini has played him on the right wing ahead of SWP. Not really a vote of no confidance is it. He's our best left winger and currently our best right winger too!

Done. He's out of contract come the summer transfer window so he'll leave. There's been no mention of a new contract and his body language looks all wrong. There's no point in shelling out £7,000,000 for a bench player (if that) when we have Bellamy and Petrov already and potentially Robinho to come back.

I'm more than happy to bet you £100.00 - easy money. But remember I bet you cos I'll forget!

HAHAAHHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHH

Martin Petrov is pure quality and you are very dumb . I am telling you 1 year from now you will realise how dumb you really are
better later than never

Remember what I said 1 year from now. He'll be got rid of because of his attitude and because of his lack of effort. He may do it at another club, but that's pointless keeping him if he's not willing to do it here isn't it?

No-one even suggested that. Don't get involved in these threads if the comments upset you...which they clearly do as you always resort to made up statements or insults when others present a rational argument. Whether they are right or wrong it's their opinion and they are entitled to it.

"Johnson.....Who has never played in the Premiership ever" hahaha, and we're the ones accused of knowing nothing about football ?? Jog on mate.

Why are you following me around BurntCock?

Sorry I don't watch Boro all the time so know fuck all about Adam Johnson.

"jog on"????? LMFAO, never seen that phrase used by ANYONE who wasn't a football-factory wannabe moron. Seeya CharredNob

Don't make statements when you clearly know fuck all then....just like your comments on Robinho.
You're obviously about 12yrs old, or have the mental capacity of a 12yr old with insults like BurntCock and CharredNob. Am I meant to somehow be offended by them ? Although looking at the other insults from you in this thread you seen to have a thing for cocks and nobs...each to their own.
You can't even have a debate or win an argument with pathetic name calling, like I give a fuck what you call me. Laughable...just laughable !!

And I'm not following you around, but it's hard to not notice some of the bullshit you type...

I can't wait for him to leave.
He's not good enough, he's lazy, he's arrogant, he's big headed, he's work shy and he's a complete pussy when it comes to a challenge.
I don't want to see us sign a michael brown of this world who's sole purpose is to kick the opposition and lump it up field.
But every player on that pitch should give his all to track back and to make a challenge.
"Oh well yes but...it's not his game" - well it fucking should be part of it.
The only thing he does is, run into space and bags the odd cracking goal (when there's no-one nearby).

Yes I'm a hater - he's the one player we have who i can't stand to see play, maybe it's because i was a defender as a kid? but he needs to grow a pair.
