Unfortunately I am unemployed at the moment so money is pretty tight and I haven't been able to donate to this cause but I would just like to say how proud I am of all the blues who have contributed and warpig and tickets for schalke for organising it. Its things like this that really make you understand why being city is such a special thing.

We truly are gods own club.

Anything is possible with a bit of team work as we have found out yet again today.

But that doesn't compare to the power of the BLUEMOON family, just an ordinary family with one common denominator.

I am so proud that I grew up blue, nothing compares to the feeling of unity of being a blue.

Bring on the Derby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Warpig, met with Ste and gave him £20, you should have youre 10er soon. If its all paid for can you put my extra £10 to a shirt for him or something along thos lines?

cheers ric. yep all sorted mate, thanks. in answer to the second part of your question im pretty sure all entrants to the competition got a signed shirt anyway. by all accounts there was a bit of commotion when this dabzy fella was allowed in as a late entrant.

lots of possibilties for the extra tenner. will pm you.

Hello all you good people, just another five hours and we will be on our way to Manchester.
I've tried so hard these past few weeks not to get emotional when I read your kind words, and see the money that you are donating to bring me home, I say home because no matter where I am in the world, Manchester City will always be my home, and that will never change, never!!

So when I entered the Coming home with Etihad Competition, little did I know I at the time something like this was going to happen, all I was looking for at the time was votes.

Etihad had my entry coming from Melbourne and not Perth, I think the only reason for this is, they don't have a stop here in Western Australia, so I was competing with the other entries on the East Coast of Australia, where I could have been winning votes here in the West.

So this is where Gareth and Ste picked up the problem, thinking I didn't stand a chance, especially with all the videos that were being made, so the rest is history, which you were all a part of, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

To Gareth, Ste, and Danny, this has been some marathon, with some sleepless nights, THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! but as Gareth stated before this was a team job, and another person who came to the rescue who doesn't wish to be mentioned, made it possible for my wife to join me on this trip of a lifetime, THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!

And as the Great Man said the other day (Bert Trautmann) Manchester City Fans are the BEST IN THE WORLD!! and who could argue with that?

Just glad we managed to get this sorted, the lads have worked really hard on making this happen. Oh and by the way mines a Singha its your round when you get here!!!

Nice to here from you Gordon, blues will do anthing to get another blue to a game. Share lifts, sell tickets at face value, help out where they can, and now we can claim to fly blues from one side of the Earth to the other to watch the mighty blues play. Hope you have a great time whilst overe here, or should i say back home. have a good one mate, all the best.
