Yep was deffo known as shagger, his wife reckoned he cheated on her about 70 times. Great batsman and died far too young though

It such a shame after building that solid base he couldn't go on to make his century.

Oh bloody hell, I feared this, although a few on here had said he hadn't been so well over last few years, it seemed a bit sudden

Another example of how depression - which 'isn't real you know' - can be fatal. Poor man.

Trust me, it is very real. I have both seen it and experienced it. Never dismiss it. And if you are experiencing it, do not shrug it off. Seek help.

Jeez.

I played cricket against his lad on Saturday.

We held a minute’s silence beforehand, but I assume his lad knew the cause then. Was obviously upset, but fair play for playing…and doing well.

Didn’t know, but he’d attempted suicide in the past. We were discussing it yesterday before it officially got confirmed.
