I was at that game and clearly remember the announcement. It was a really fantastic performance. Hitchhiked from Manchester to the game and tried to get on the team bus to get home but they politely told me to try the other coaches which I did and got a ride back on if I remember correctly a Finglands ? coach.

Never has so much money been pissed up the wall with such banality! You've only got to watch those idiots for half a minute and it's as clear as fuckin' day why none of 'em would ever last a week in management! It's risible!
