I was 10 also in the Platt Lane and remember all the cool cats and all City’s lads near the back. There was loads of Everton at the back of the platt lane that night.......I was 12 and sat very close and very intrigued by it all!
Memory’s not what is was PB but was that the Tommy Caton header?3-1 against Liverpool, October 1977. We were 1-0 down in the first half but ripped them apart in the second. The noise was incredible.
Not Caton but you're right on Channon. Him, Kidd and Royle were the scorers.Memory’s not what is was PB but was that the Tommy Caton header?
I was 16 at the time and usually under the influence.
Also remember the Mic Channon reel away after his goal against them...was ir the same game?
My liver & head hurts!
