Most chefs I've met are mad. It's no surprise working long hours in a hot,noisy high pressure environment. I guess the food industry is one where you're always being constantly judged too.

Edit- thought you were talking about MasterChef not the ITV Tarodes do cooking thing.

They should bring back Ready Steady Cook. The chefs would have to work hard to rustle up something decent with a £5 goody bag these days.
